We provide catering within the Columbia University upper campus ecosystem, as well as to the local community surrounding our location.

Pending group size, event style and budget, we have a variety of set-ups and seating available for event rentals.

For events held at Dear Mama, we offer a minimum F&B spend similar to most restaurant venues that host events; budget varies and may include food, beverages, staffing, rentals, and administrative fee.

At this time, we do not offer a vegan menu, though may permit food from an outside provider for catered events only with prior approval; a service fee may apply.

Tabletop decor such as tablecloths, seat covers, cushions, menus, dinnerware, glassware, florals, free-standing signage, select illumination are welcome.
Unfortunately we do not permit the use of helium balloons, glitter, confetti, smoke machines. We cannot hang any items from walls, windows or ceilings, nor can any entrances be blocked due to FDNY guidance.

For full event buyouts, we permit DJs and live performances at the cost to the client.
Staging, backline, amplification and microphones must be provided by client, and a tech list provided in advance to Dear Mama for approval.
Dear Mama can provide a list of approved vendors, or book the entertainment on behalf of the client for additional fee.

For full buyouts, we welcome your own playlist to be arranged with the Event Manager in advance.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your event date. The balance is due along with your final guest count no less than 14 days prior to your event.
